Note - 1: The 122511 John Jewel  family was a young family in Yorktown. George’s (32) two brother’s William (36) and Isaac (37) were probable also in (Cortlandt) Yorktown. We know this is where Isaac’s son States was born in 1777. John and States would have been cousins living in the same town during and after the War. These names are what shows up on the Saratoga county census in 1800.

We know William (36) and Isaac (37) were two of the Jewels to migrate to Saratoga. There was also a George , a John and a Stephen in the group. There also was a young Isaac probable George’s son that got married in Saratoga in 1795.

Note: All names bold and underlined are mentioned in the historical novel, “The Sawmill River Valley War”. For more information on this historical novel click the title above
